This Privacy Policy describes how Mashoor ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Mashoor mobile application (the "App"), a multi-vendor marketplace for discovering and purchasing products from registered shops in Pakistan.

1. Information We Collect

Category	Details
Account information	Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account. An optional referral code may also be provided.
Profile information	Profile picture (only if you choose to upload one from your camera or photo gallery).
Delivery information	Delivery addresses, city, province, postal code, and contact phone number for order fulfilment.
Payment information	Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your full card number on our servers. Cash-on-delivery orders require no payment data.
Order & usage data	Order history, wishlist items, cart contents, product reviews, and your language/currency preferences.
Device information	Device type (Android/iOS) and a push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send you order updates.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and verify it via OTP (sent to your email or phone).
To process orders, arrange delivery, and provide courier tracking.
To process payments through Stripe or record cash-on-delivery orders.
To send push notifications about your orders and important account activity.
To operate the referral program and apply referral discounts.
To display prices in your selected currency and content in your selected language (English/Urdu).
To respond to customer-support requests.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Vendors and couriers — your name, delivery address, and phone number, solely to fulfil your orders.
Stripe — to process card payments (Stripe Privacy Policy).
Google Firebase — for push notifications and app infrastructure (Firebase Privacy).
Law-enforcement or regulators where required by applicable law.

4. Data Security

Authentication tokens are stored in platform-encrypted storage (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android). All communication with our servers uses HTTPS encryption.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at support@mashoor.com. Upon verified request, we delete your personal data except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records of completed orders).

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information through the App's profile settings or by contacting us. You may disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
